Frequently Asked Questions - BuzzCard Equipment Rental

    • How do I reserve BuzzCard Readers?
      Student organizations and Campus Departments may reserve BuzzCard readers by completing the BuzzCard Equipment Reservation Form. If your event spans the last day and first day of the month, separate forms are required.
    • What happens if I lose or break BuzzCard Equipment?
      The user accepts responsibility for all damage or loss of BuzzCard equipment.
    • I sent in a form but I was told no readers were available. Why?
      All equipment is reserved on a first come/first serve basis.
    • How many days in advance do I have to reserve a BuzzCard reader?
      Reservations must be made three (3) business days prior to the event.
    • When is the equipment I reserved due back?
      Equipment must be returned within 24 hours or 10:00 a.m. Monday if the event falls on a Friday or Weekend.
    • When will we be reimbursed for the event?
      Reimbursements will be made at the end of the business month following equipment rental.
    • Is there a fee to reserve BuzzCard Readers?
      There is a $10 a day per reader rental fee. Readers returned after the due date and time will be assessed additional daily rental fees. Transaction Fees of 3% apply.
